What is an equity investor?
An equity investor is an individual or institution that invests in the equity (ownership) of a company. They invest in the hope that the value of the company will increase over time, allowing them to profit when they sell their shares at a higher price. As well as bringing investment, investors can also provide expertise to help with the growth of the business.
